Illustrations

Every drawing in the system, at the size it is used. Flat fills, one hairline weight, and every colour a token — so the same drawing is correct on paper and inside a tone without a second version of it existing.

The hand layer

Picked by hand (13 October 2026): the logo’s pen in a curator’s hand. The marks circle, ring, tick and point, one per composition, ink on light and white on dark, never lime. The patterns sit on ink or lime, tone on tone, never behind running text. Both are drawn from lib/brand/marks.ts, which the Figma brand book uses too.

circleAround the thing that matters.
ringAround one small thing.
tickTested, done, chosen.
The same marks on ink take the text colour, white.
Trail · the e's loop, run as one line. Crop it big.
Lean · hairlines at the logo's 10°. A quiet ground.
Grid · one template picked, the only lime, circled.
Trail on lime: the one lime ground on a page may carry it, below the words.

The line

A template rides the conveyor through seven machines and collects its story: it enters plain, Brand gives it its colour block, Validate and Review pin checks on it, each tool adds a pip, and the Publish stamp presses the badge on. It was the homepage hero for a while and it is the wrong thing there — the hero has to show what we sell, and this explains how something comes to be sold.

Spot drawings

Each one is shown on paper here. Dropped into a coloured section they follow it — the seal’s hairline reads cobalt inside tone-cobalt and mist on paper, from one drawing.

StackedPanelsA template through an AI tool and out intact — source, node, result with a tick. The section it sits in has a three-part claim, so the drawing has three parts. A picture of one template said only the first.
CheckSealThe badge, drawn as the thing the badge is about. The tick is the only filled shape. Everything around it is a hairline, so the claim looks checked rather than decorated.
EnvelopeMarkThe quiet ask — sits beside a single email field.Small on purpose. An illustration bigger than the control beside it turns a one-line request into a campaign.
PriceTagThe offer, when there is no collage to carry it.Drawn rather than an icon because it stands next to a 56px price, and a 16px glyph there reads as a footnote.
